MEMBER BENEFITS
WELL CHILD VISITS
The American Academy of Pediatrics has established a well child visit schedule that we adhere to and recommend our patients follow. These comprehensive visits are important for several reasons:
-
to monitor a child's growth and development
-
undergo a thorough physical exam
-
to ensure necessary preventative care (screenings, immunizations, review safety measures, discussion about lifestyle)
-
to educate and prepare for the future with a focus on anticipatory guidance
-
an opportunity for parents to raise concerns and ask questions
-
to establish a strong trusted relationship with your pediatrician
All well child checkups are included in a family's membership. A patient's insurance is billed for their vaccines. In addition, family members may also receive their needed immunizations while in the office.
ACUTE CARE AND FOLLOW-UP VISITS
Memberships include unlimited visits to address illness, injury, and other acute or chronic concerns to encompass all of your child’s physical, mental, and emotional primary care needs. Appointments can be scheduled to take as long or as little time as needed. Only one family is in the office at a time so there is no wait in a waiting room around other ill children. It’s nice when you can actually predict how long an appointment will take!
In some cases, we must decide together if an urgent care or ER visit is necessary. Evening and weekend visit requests will be accommodated if possible. Home visits may be offered as well (additional fee may apply).
DIRECT ACCESS
The hallmark of DPC and concierge medicine is the ease of connection to your doctor. Families receive a members-only phone number and email address when they join which offers direct access to their pediatrician via phone call, texting, email, and video chat. All exchanges are uploaded directly into their medical record for continuity.
When needed, we are happy to reach out to local specialists to help coordinate care and expedite the process of necessary referrals. After speaking to the doctor directly, an expert in their field, we are often able to avoid visits to the specialist altogether when they share their insight and recommendations.
Find comfort in the availability of the physician who knows your child best with this personalized care. There is no answering service or on-call triage line. Do you need to speak to your pediatrician? Then reach out directly to your pediatrician.

One of the most unique and enjoyable parts of the practice is the sense of community that has emerged. DISCOUNTS
Various testing, prescription medications, additional treatments, and consultations are all part of the medical care of your child that can add up in cost.
We work with families to find the lowest cost alternatives for outside laboratory studies and medications, for those who prefer not to use their insurance. We have secured great pricing with LabCorp and wholesale medications that are extremely affordable. We are thrilled to pass the savings along to the patients of the practice when we can cut out the middle man markups.
To save families a trip to the pharmacy or store, we keep many commonly prescribed medications and over-the-counter medications in-stock at the office.
When indicated, we can directly consult a specialist for a flat affordable fee within our EMR, AtlasMD. We remotely discuss your child's case through secure messaging with the physician and obtain their guidance and recommendations. Not only does this enable better care, but it saves time and reduces in-person consultation costs.
